Warranty and Returns Policy
Huon Distributors only sells quality products that are covered by the full manufacturer's 'Back to Base' Warranty - typically 12 months. If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please send an email to our operations manager with details of the problem and your contact details. FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE. We will contact you to discuss the item and where necessary we will request that the item be returned to us. If the item is determined to be faulty, we will send a replacement at our cost, or provide a refund.
We will replace an item at our cost or provide a refund if:- you receive an item that is faulty (reported within 7 days of delivery); or
- you receive an item that has been damaged in transit (reported within 7 days of delivery); or
- an item fails under normal use during its warranty period, and is returned to our warehouse for inspection and confirmation. ('Back to Base' Warranty)
We will provide a refund less a 10% restocking fee if:
- you receive items that that you do not want; and
- you pay to return items to us; and
- the items are returned in as new condition; and
- the items are returned to us within one month of dispatch; and
- the items are not specially ordered items; and
- all items have an individual value less than $400.
We will NOT provide a refund if:
- you damaged an item after you received it; or
- you received a damaged or faulty item that was not reported to us within 7 days of delivery; or
- the item you returned to us was damaged in transit to our warehouse.
Note that some items can be easily damaged with improper handling. Please ensure that you are using correct procedures when installing or using these items, and when returning items please ensure they are adequately packed to prevent damage.

If you would like to view or correct your contact details on our system or ask for them to be removed, then please contact us and will be able to assist you.
We also securely store your credit card information (encrypted) until we dispatch your order and process the payment. We then delete your credit card information and store the payment reference number provided by our financial institution (bank).

When you submit an order with your credit card details the communication between you computer and our server is encrypted with 2048 bit SSL. When your order is ready for dispatch we process your credit card payment. The transaction receipt for the payment is recorded in the system and the credit card details are removed from our system except the first 4 and last 4 digits. The credit card expiry and cvc are also removed.
